Is using Twitter a fundamental requirement to marketing your business online?

Absolutely not.

Surprised? While I’m going to strongly recommend that you do use Twitter, the fact of the matter is, you don’t need to. You’ve managed to survive this long without it. You’re still in business. You’ve managed to acquire, serve, and retain customers.

If You Don’t Need Twitter, Why Use It?

You may have heard that Twitter can be a valuable addition to your business. Here are some of the ways how.

Twitter helps you:

  • Listen to your market
  • Understand your market
  • Find/study the leaders in your market
  • Attract new customers
  • Communicate with your customers
  • Share special/exclusive promotions
  • Respond quickly and personally to complaints
